Ginger Tea
The root of ginger has been used for decades to ease the symptoms of GIT disorders and it helps to relax stomach muscles in the case of diarrhea. Plus the tea is a good replacement for lost fluids.
The good side of this remedy is ease of preparation. Simply boil the root in water and let it simmer for 5 minutes, strain the liquid and sip. [11]
No-Pulp Fruit Juice
If you like to try something other than ordinary water, fruit juice without the pulp is an excellent choice.
You must also ensure that the preparation is half water and half juice. For children, however, it’s not recommended for long-term use as it results in unnecessary weight gain. [12]
