Egg Whites
Although you are not supposed to get too much protein to not overwork your kidneys, a serving of egg whites is a high-quality, kidney-friendly protein source low in phosphorus. They might be preferable over whole eggs, which tend to contain higher phosphorus levels. Two large raw egg whites (66 grams) contain 110 mg of sodium, 108 mg of potassium, 10 mg of phosphorus, and 7 grams of protein.
